Secondary Weapons Firing Arc

By FOXX5, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Can a secondary weapon shot out the aux fire arc on the firespray or 360 degrees on the millennium falcon?

Generally speaking all Secondary Weapons must be fired using the Ship's primary firing arc unless specified otherwise.

Also note that the Falcon does NOT have a 360 degree arc but rather has a primary attack that can target ships outside of its standard firing arc.

No, secondary weapons use the primary firing arc only (unless otherwise specified, of course).

Also, it's important to note that the YT-1300, YT-2400, and VT-49 do not have 360 degree firing arcs; they have the standard primary firing arc and the ability to perform primary weapon attacks outside of it. This matters for some pilot and card abilities, especially "Backstabber", Outmaneuver, and Tactician.

No, page 2 of the FAQ under the Auxiliary Firing Arc section states:

"When attacking with a secondary weapon, the ship must still target an enemy ship inside its standard firing arc (unless otherwise specified on the Upgrade card)."
