This took second place at the last Store Championship I attended. Keyan could probably be replaced with a wide variety of support ships, depending on what you want to do.

Han with Kyle, Engine Upgrade and PtL will give you a decent attacker - though I have to say, this seems like just a sub-par Dash. Maybe toss in a Tactician for extra pressue?

Lando with, say, Leia, Intelligence Agent and VI might be interesting as a support ship. Open up the dials of your list, grant some action economy and take a peek at what your opponent is doing. Probably not the best way to spend your points, though.

Fly alongside your choice of 2 rookies, or 2 y-wings with the BTL-A4 title, Autoblaster turrets, and a 1 point astromech of your choosing.

Though not consistent... Lando is fun on the Falcon.. Lando Crew that is.. roll dice.. get evade or focus.. or nothing at all.. but .. the possibilities are... interesting

Try This: Han/Chewy- PTL, Jan Ors, Recon Spec, Falcon Title. Focus to get 2 Focus tokens with Rec Spec, use Jan to change 1 to an Evade, then PtL to use the Falcon title to do an Evade action. If you don't want to use PTL you can still get 1 evade and 1 focus token. Pros: 2 evade tokens and 1 focus token. Cons: The stress from PTL makes you predictable in the next turn. You must avoid bumping at all cost. You are suseptable to lists with Ion and don't PTL if you plan on shooting someone with Rebel Captive.

Nobody has mentioned this, but the Falcon kit has some really good upgrades (Engine Upgrade, Nien Numb, Chewbacca), it's worth getting just for those.

I'm not saying Chewbacca is a bad card, but there are a lot of reasons 3PO consistently performs better.

...all of which are irrelevant if you don't actually own C3P0 in the first place.

LOL, no.

If you're going to use c3p0, you use him in combination with London crew. That way you always get something from the roll. You can stack up the Fatness by adding Experimental interface and Falcon title - perform evade reaction, the EI triggers Lando, then get a stress.

Otherwise there are plenty of options without c3p0. Push the limit and Numb means you can throw locks and focus for offense or focus and evades for defence, then clear it with any straight maneuver next turn.

Yet another reason 3PO is so effective in general is that he doesn't require an action. A lot of the alternatives here are also good, but a ship with predator and 3PO is a ship that doesn't worry about getting blocked as much and can use its action for Engine.

These are subtle gains, but they're significant, and a reason I'd recommend Predator over other EPTs even without 3PO. I'd probably also run Gunner, engine, and Recspec or Chewie.

OP: For competitive platy, I wouldn't recommend running the Falcon without C-3P0. Chewbacca's not a bad poor man's replacement, but the Falcon is mostly about gaming the MoV in timed events and Chewie's of limited help in that department.

You experiment with, say, Kyle Katarn and PtL, but that seems like a waste on a big base with 3 attack die.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Han+ C-3PO is taken because it's good at winning not at "gaming MoV".

You could be like me and have gotten the YT-1300 just for the Engine Upgrade card. I haven't flown my Falcon in the past 2 years, except for some Trench Run games.

I like Lando on the Falcon. Lando + Chewie would be a really strong tanky falcon option without having C-3PO
