Something I've been wondering about as we get ready for these things to arrive. The ship is coming in a Decimator-sized box, which was previously the largest ship in the game. The Hound's Tooth looks to be even larger.
It's a bit of a concern for me largely from a logistical standpoint. I use Plano tackle satchels to carry my stuff, and I'm fairly certain that this thing will not come close to fitting in those unless the maneuvering fins fold up like a Lambda's.
I don't know about larger, but the model is almost comically wide (because of the ship, mind, not because FFG screwed the pooch)
It's got large lateral width because of the wings, and it's got a very tall block of a"head"
Edited by ficklegreendiceI doubt the fins will fold. Really, it just seems bulky. The Decimator is long and wide, but doesn't have much in the tall department. This one seems long and tall, and only the fins are particularly wide.
I commented in another thread that this ship is going to be a ROYAL pain to store.
If the wings folded they would come folded. The designers commented once that the only reason the lambda wings fold us so it fits in a box.
The HT is looking to be about 3" tall and more than that wide. So far, the only storage option I can think of involves magnetizing the wings so they can be removed for storage.
Yeah.... Not liking the storage. I hope they go full Lambda on the wings.

It looks like the wings might rotate back and at an angle so that they'll lay parallel to the hull. It's tough to say fkr sure though.

After seeing the model at CVII I can say that it is both taller and wider than the Decimator. The wings did not appear to be hinged on the display model.
Wider at the wing tips. Not the hull, btw.
Been a long, long time since I did any image sizing analysis, so this might be complete and utter tosh, but using GIMP and the known size of the base I'm getting roughly -
14 - 14.5 cm long
10.25 - 10.5 cm width (wings)
6 cm height (front)
All figures are rounded.
