Ideas for large and massive figures

By Gecimen, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Loving the idea of a Dewback Sandtrooper.

Personally I'm wanting a 4x2 Desert Skiff. In an ideal world piloted by a droid so it could be a "neutral" model so whoever jumps into it (it having a flat deck and space for maybe 5 figures or 3 stormtroopers and an E-web) would take control of it. More likely it'll be a S&V model so it can be bought in Skirmish for all sides with the right support cards.

Would be pretty slow but "mobile" to fly over stuff. Would probably be in a big box expansion.

I definitely like the idea here. I'd say it would likely have to be dedicated in a skirmish, but I do like the idea of making neutral vehicles/mounts available. The biggest issue I'd say is the same that many have said for other ideas: the size of the play area.

Isn't a single square more like 1 meter? (or 1 yard) I'm thinking about making my own 3D game board. Would like to hear your opinion.

This should be easy to figure out. Peter Mayhew is 7'3" or something; determine the dimensions of a space relative to the Chewie mini and extrapolate... =)

Usually in games 1 square = 5 feet. The Chairs on the IA map tiles are 5mm wide, and the squares are 25mm. You can probably work out a scale for that.

The only one I really want to see from the OP list is the Rancor. I'll bet we'll see that one for sure at some point.
