My LGS sells baseball bat tubes to store mats.

I haven't had an issue with the box my mat came in. It still looks brand new, and goes everywhere with me.

How do i carry my playmat? With two hands holding it aloft while roaring like a tusken raider.

3" is perfect. Do Not get 2.5. I have to roll my mat so tight to get it in. I got a 4' tube, a closed end and a screw in plug end from lowes for under $5. Works amazing.

WELP there goes my Saturday. Luckily I can tell the fiancé I'm going to lowes and make it seem like it's not x-wing related.....
