Interceptors with the s-loop i don't see it happening, not that i object to the idea i just don't see them giving every tie that move.

Also I'd think we'd run into problems when a player would choose to invoke the sloop.

I think it would be amazing because the turnaround move would be incredibly difficult to block, and you wouldn't have to plan on it, just pick it once the lower PS moves are in. You'd have an action-free, stress-free way of generating a 180 degree arc while turning around. The only thing close is IG88D, which causes stress and is only in one direction.

I love the idea of giving ties an s-loop, but if it did that they the punisher would need to come with the segnor's loop rules card, and it doesn't look like it does.

It's very interesting, and would be fun, but really I'm just hoping it's the green banks (and that if I say that enough it'll come true).

on a more serious note, I STILL feel like the defender is overpriced by at least 2-3pts. Better cannons, missiles, and an extra tweak here or there will get it close...but is close good enough? Are we playing horseshoes or xwing here?

You mean the wording?

Improve the wording at will.

It was just another idea anyway.

The format of the card (from what we can see of it) is going to be 'You may treat [] maneuvers as [] maneuvers'. It's hard to express the idea of canceling your dial for a 1 straight in that format unless it's something like 'you may treat [straight] maneuvers like [1 straight] maneuvers.
