Is there a collection of scenarios to help break up the drab 100 point deathmatch style of game?
I'd particularly appreciate scenarios that work with a generic list (I mean, they don't require specific models or Epic play). Any pointers?

There are many such scenarios on FFG's mission- building tool 'mission control'. Looking through them for the kind of scenarios you're looking for can be difficult, though.
I've published a number of scenarios there myself, and I also put together a list of well written missions, which you can find linked in my signature. Many of my scenarios don't require specific ships, and are not epic-scale. I'd recommend looking at 'Junkyard', 'Vendetta', 'Steel Trap', and 'Satellite Control' for starters.

Thanks. I found Mission Control to be a bit hard to navigate and difficult to search, but I'll check out your scenarios.
Ideally I'm hoping to put together about 6 scenarios that work with standard fleets and require players to do things other than just blow up enemy ships.
Yeah, MC is a pain to look through. The scenarios I list as 'tournament compatible' should best fit your needs, if by standard list you mean 100-point lists.
Recon Run is also pretty close to your needs.

Yep; I changed that off-board fire support to a 3-dice attack that the imperials can make each turn. Should be easier to remember since it starts working right away, not too powerful since the dice aren't being modified, and won't hamper escape to the same extent as before. Good feedback there!
