MAPS, anyone use the old Star Wars miniature game maps.

I am just wondering what maps everyone uses. I like the old Star Wars miniature game maps. They work really well. Also the Imperial Assault maps too. Just curious.

I have several old Star Wars miniature maps and a few maps from older Star Wars RPGs and I have on occassion used them. In my case it needs to be a good fit for the scene I want to run though so It doesnt come up very often.. I also have alot of desert tiles from running DnD Dark Sun chronicles that have been useful for Tatooine wastelands. Been meaning to get Imperial Assault and I think Ill use the tiles sometimes for my RPG“s aswell. In general I find tiles are more useful then fully drawn maps.

I'll print deckplans for ships and use them with miniatures for approximate positions--i.e., to show if characters are in the cockpit, gunwell, engineering, lounge, etc.

I use the old star wars minis maps all the time. There are also several new ones out as well from Maps of Masteryband the Armored Cartographer.

I'll second Maps of Mastery. I also recently discovered the Adventurer's Atlas, and backed their last kickstarter.

Yup, I have and use them when needed, although I tend to shy away from maps and minis unless it's really needed. I also have a whole mess of Maps of Mastery.
