I'm going to repaint my z-95s in the colours of the Binayre pilot ships, and a y-wing to look like the Hired Gun. Anyone have any pics of their own repaints, or advice of what hues of Citadel Colour to use for the two ships???

The Binayre Pirate I would give a basecoat of Codex Grey/ Dawnstone/ Cold Grey (Old GW / New GW / Vallejo) and paint the reddish markings with Scab Red/ Khorne Red/ Scarlett Red mixed with some Fortress Grey/ Adminstratum Grey/ Stonewall Grey and some Dwarf Flesh/ Ratskin Flesh/ Dwarf Skin.

The Hired Gun would receive a basecoat of Fortress Grey/ Adminstratum Grey/ Stonewall. The camouflage or whatever it's supposed to be seems a bit trickier. Perhaps a 1:1 mix of Camo Green/ Elysian Green/ Camouflage Green and Catachan Green/ Castellan Green/ Cayman Green might work, though I'm fairly certain some grey, either Fortress Grey/ Adminstratum Grey/ Stonewall or Codex Grey/ Dawnstone/ Cold Grey, should also be added into the mix.

So, I felt that highlighting doesnt go well with the rest of my minis so I decided to basepaint, wash, and then wetbrush the models. Im not sure if the binayre should be a lighter shade of grey, but it looks good from a short distance. I had to use a darker green on the Hired gun, but it looks awesome from a short distance too. The pics dont do them justice at all.

Both look good but the Binayre looks really rad.
