so i primed everything today and decided i'd start with the wookies!

so i present my first completed figure. the one and only Chewbacca!. i need to give it a matte finish and a gloss finish to the bow, but other than that he's 100% complete

i've been really busy with the stormtroopers lately. i banged them off but they took a a long time to complete all 9

i'm not happy with how Chewie turned out, i think i put too much matte finish on him so he has a bit of a shine now. I guess that means he's been using a deep conditioning treatment lately. He's trying new things, ok!?!

anyone know how to tone down an overdone matte finish without repainting him again?

i'm a painting mad man today!, unfortunately the lighting was too bright today so IG-88 looks like he has no depth what so ever but, he indeed does with both shading and highlighting and looking at it up close you can clearly see the difference. I'm guessing the metallic pigments in the paint is throwing everything off

next ones i'm currently working on are the Probe Droids, Vader and RGC.. coming soon!

Finished the Royal Guard Champion this morning

this has been a treat to work on, the sculpt is beautiful, the paint scheme is amazing to look at and it's also my favorite model released so far. I can't wait to start owning faces with him in game

Imperial officers done, had a mistake when i was doing the eyes, too much white ended up in one of the eye sockets so i ended up turning it into a cybernetic eye. can't tell too much from the picture, but it's a red lens with a metallic outer casing

thanks, i actually did it with my wife in mind. She's a professional hair stylist and uses vibrant colours in her hair all the time! her hair is currently half bright violet/deep red and half dark brown

thanks, for mak i was looking to make it a translucent look like it shows in the artwork, so i put an black dot where his eye was to be and put a lot of VERY thinned down layers of paint (pretty much coloured water at that point) until it gave me the right effect i wanted

for the droids i used another person's work as reference for the probe droids eyes, so i can't take full credit
