Experience points - each player receives 1 XP ? What if you only have 1 rebel player?

By steambucky, in Imperial Assault Campaign

Hello,

I am the imperial player my friend is the rebel player controlling 2 charcters - the "additional rewards" section reads strangley to us.

It often says Each player recieves 1 XP. As we are playing with only 1 Rebel player and if you play that rule as listed he would have 1 XP to spend between 2 chacters. If we had another rebel player, playing a chacters each then they would get an XP each, effectively 2 XP for the rebels, which seems to make more sense.

Are the rules really that the a single rebel player, using two charcters would only get 1 XP in the additional rewards?

About to play in 5 mins...no pressure on getting a quick response. ;)

Each character gets one XP.

Thanks - also, do the player XP points go into a pool or do the chatcters earn them individually?

XP is individual and credits are pooled .

Good question as it took an FAQ/errata to clarify it.

And when it says players, that includes the imperial player for an exp point.
