Lucky minor psy power and other questions

By cpt.catarro, in Dark Heresy Rules Questions

Hi,i'm new on the forum,i'm reading it for a while and i searched through the topics but i couldn't find the answer to my many questions...

the psyker in my group uses this tactic: he launches the psy power lucky and in the next turn he launches a bigger power with 4 dices.

since our knowledge of english isn't very good we can interpret the use of the power in two ways: you can reroll all the dices of the psy test or you can reroll only certain dices (the nines...)

i think you must reroll all the dices or else this power is too powerful, what do you think about it?

Another question:

unnatural agility what tests does influence? in the errata is specified that it doesn't modify the speed,so it only counts for initiative? i don't think it works for dodge tests...

Last question:

When you roll the damage of a psy power if you roll a 10 to confirm the launch of the next dice what kind of test you should make? i think that bs and ws doesn't fit for this.

Thanks everybody!

I would assume that a roll covers all of your dice and that the power is either all or nothing. So you couldn't just re-roll the nines from a focus power action.

AFAIK, apart from movement which is covered explicitly by unnatural speed, it applies to everything that Agility applies to. Therefore, it would apply to dodge tests and reduce the test difficulty by one stage for each multiplier [iH p. 226].

Since most psy powers use WP I would use that instead (unless it has been stated elsewhere that psy powers do not gain rightous fury).

Thanks,for the answers

it will be interesting to find a confirmation of the psy power's righeous fury absence but until then i will use wp tests as you suggest

I wouldn't use righteous fury on psy powers.

The agility question has already been answered. For a frightening set of stats, look over to the Eldar from Creatures Anathema, aka Mr "Roll Initia- oh, the Eldar goes first." 1D10+20 is nothing to scoff at.

yeah i've already found the initiative thread thanks,my concern was about the other agility based tests.
