Need Deck building advice for "Journey in the Dark"

By Flrbb, in Strategy and deck-building

My playing party started the campaign mode of the lord of the rings adventures a while ago. We are stuck at "Journey in the Dark". Tried it like 6 times now. None of us can identify the real threat of that mission, it's wired. So I'd like to ask for deck building advice!

We do not want to change heros. Which cards we should add to our decks? (And why is this mission so unwinable for us?)

Our heroes are:

Merry, Pippin, Sam (red, green, purple) - deck right now: common hobbits deck

Bard the Bowman, Legolas, Mabulung (pure red) - deck focusses on eagles, trying to do all the main cobat

Hirluin the fair (for Outlands), Beravor (card draw), Eowyn (initially thought we need huge location contol) - deck focuses on outlands

So, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thanks

bring healig....a lot of it.....waters of nimrodel is a lifesaver in this scenario

use global willpower boosts (suprised to not see Aragorn hero on Saga quests :D) like Faramir to sprint through first stage

Fellowship cards are actually really usefull

global attack boosts like For Gondor are excellent to kill Balrog

a lot of chumblockers/uber defender with sentinel to deffend Balrog
