Damnit i flew three x-wings just this week WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME?!
Your Opinions, Please: What Is a Casual List to You?
Whether I play a new player, or someone who is experienced and knows me very well, I just play whatever I think could be fun and play to win. I can't pretend I am doing my best and lose on purpose at the same time ![]()

Did you win? If you win with the terribly broken Xwing then it counts as two wins, if you lose with Xwings then it's not actually a loss but a No Decision like a pitching box score in baseball.
I think there are core "power cards" that are efficient and ubiquitous in the tournament scene. I don't think you necessarily did this, but if you play with too many high benefit/low cost upgrades, you will run the risk of not being considered "casual".

It was a themed intro game for a friend i made him a darth vader list 1 advanced with 4 ties and took biggs, wedge and porkins.
Biggs of course died fast as was my plan but then he started doing rookie moves and even though i was going easy i killed vader and three ties leaving him with backstabber, wedge died next so it was down to backstabber vs porkins, and in the end he out turned me.
Had i built for synergy over theme then yeah i could of won i think.
So long as someone brings a list with equal or fewer points I'm game. Heads up, run whatcha brung. This "your list is too hardcore" business is nonsense.
