Play testing help needed

A while back I posted the idea of a mercenary campaign for x-wing and received a lot of positive feedback regarding the idea. Well, I am nearly done fleshing out some of the basics but could use some help play testing. Within the next couple of days I will have the basic rules and new point costs listed. I will also have a few balancing options for ordinance.

So the basic concepts and considerations up to this point are

1) I am separating the pilots from the ships. This will allow for new pilots to be hired/fired and allow for progression as they survive more missions. I am working reworking ship cards. They will be larger but will have space for small pilot cards, ordinance and upgrade cards.

2) I am reworking ship costs as well. Factoring in the dial in the cost has been the biggest headache though I am close to finally being done with that headache.

3) I am keeping the costs of the upgrade/mod/ordinance cards as is. Everything with the exception of the ship cards (which I am close to being finished with) will be usable. Rather than change the cost of ordinance I have a few buffs in mind that should make them more attractive to use.

When I have finished all of the basics I will post everything including the formulas used to recalculate the point costs for the base ships. The more feedback I get the better. Thank you in advance for the future help. I will have everything posted by the weekend.

My regular gaming group is interested in trying an xwing campaign. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in mind.
