I don't know, I've never found the plastic/resin dice to be very trustworthy either. I'm beginning to think the only dice I can rely upon are those I personally carve out of the bones of my conquered enemies.
Yup, I got the phone call from my FLGS that my dice are available for pick-up.
I shall soon have conquered enemies of my own, so getting a third set should not be necessary.

Corner case certainly, but a Vic 2 front arc + dominator + concentrate fire is 6 blues.
If it also happens to belong to the second player, playing opening salvo... a potential 8 blues.

I can imagine a lot of luddite opponents not liking it if I were to bring the app to the table. Is it considered tournament legal? (It should be, right, as an official FFG product?)
How is it to deal with. All my phone apps require me to push on my phone, swipe it open, and then maybe even open the app in question. Then having to set the correct number of dice... That's pretty cumbersome compared to picking up the dice and rolling them.
Let me just add that while the app is great, the part of the world that I live in just had a severe storm 3 days ago. 85,000 homes are still without power as of today.

If I'm going to be throwing dice horribly, I'd rather that it was ME who did it, not some random AI losing my games for me.

Not sure about anyone else's feelings on this, but...I have this LOVE for throwing obscene amounts of dice on the table. Just watching/hearing them roll is...satisfying! :D

If I'm going to be throwing dice horribly, I'd rather that it was ME who did it, not some random AI losing my games for me.
Not sure about anyone else's feelings on this, but...I have this LOVE for throwing obscene amounts of dice on the table. Just watching/hearing them roll is...satisfying!
I like being able to blame the software. That way I can pretend it's not just my lousy luck.
But, I do understand the visceral feel of physical dice and have quite a lot of them myself.
