I'm trying to make an all B-Wing squad work, and this is my first run at it.

Ten Numb + "Mangler" Cannon

Keyan Farlander + Heavy Laser Cannon

Ibtisam + Veteran Instincts

Pilot skill is pretty important in my local groups meta right now, otherwise I'd still be using a 4 or 5 fighter build. How do you think this would perform? Any suggestions for alternatives?

How high of pilot skill do you typically face? In most cases you'll want upgrades for these Bwings that work well with their pilot abilities. Keyan and Ibtisam really need a stress causing upgrade to maximize their pilot ability: I think the most common upgrades are either push the limit or stay on target. With three Bwings you are moving from a more brute force strategy of 4 bwings to a finesse outmanuver strategy at higher pilot skill. As I am typing I am thinking that you could run your build and rely on three debris clouds to give you stress, but then again you become more predictable where you are moving. I might test squads with that in mind.

If youre going with just three B's this list looks better to me. WIth so little green dice being rolled you need to hit real real hard.

Sticking with the three named pilots, this is the best I could do:

Ten Numb + Mangler Cannon + Veteran Instincts (36)

Keyan Farlander + Advanced Sensors + Stay on Target (34)

Ibtisam + Flechette Cannon (30)

Doing a red with Ibby then sticking to white moves gives you offensive and defensive re-rolls; the Flechette just lets her be a minor control piece (and uses your last 2 points). Keyan's setup lets him grab Target Lock and pseudo-Focus every turn, though he does miss his HLC. Ten with the addition of VI can even hunt Phantoms with Barrel Roll and let his ability plus the Mango get hits through, although the B-Wing dial does make it tricky.
