The Force is strong in my podcast (Intensify Forward Firepower ep II)

By WWPDSteven, in Star Wars: Armada

Judson has it.

I have it.

Dano has it.

And now Easy has that power too.

Join the WWPD Fleet Commanders as they discuss everything surrounding Fantasy Flight Games' newest Star Wars title, Armada. In episode two Steve, Easy, Dano and Judson talk about recent Armada sessions they've played and Judson's LED engine project, as well as Steve's vain attempt at resistance to further Armada purchases. Star Wars news - and there's been a lot of it - gets discussed before the quartet get into some game-talk and make a few predictions. The episode ends leaving all four wishing they had time to continue!

So looking forward to listening to this!

if Dano keeps saying Cah-toon, I'll listen every week.

And for the Squadron discussion may I present....

Watch out Luke she'll shoot you up
(Oh-oh, here she comes) She's the HOWLRUNNER

I already dip into the Hall and Oates well twice daily. Might as well go for the trifecta on the next show.

the Howlrunner may be my favorite as i love playing her right now

I love the fact that you guys did 3 VSD lists and tested them! I knew it would be a strong list! I think the current rebel top contenders Will be a 7 CR90 list with Dodanna that tops out at the same points as the 3 VSD II's with Tarkin.

I REALLY want Squadrons to be/remain viable. It will take some finesse for sure. ATM I am not digging the required dependency on being anticipatorily (not a word) placed and/or Ship squadron orders.

That being said...2 Squadron Defense dice really hurts 3damage TIEs. 1 Squadron Defense die is laughable versus 5damage X-Wings.

The old books now Legends were never canonical. They were just what we had. Lucas said all along they weren't and would be ignored in the event future movies or tv shows conflicted with them.

...and we too can ignore any trash they try to serve up as well. Troves of Pencil & Paper RPGs and Computer Gaming Software were "OK'd" when he wanted to make money off them. And yes, he had special screeners to keep things in (some undefend) line. He did give us something to love, but the fans put the meat on the bones so to speak. Star Wars grew despite the imposed restrictions and grew larger than anything he ever imagined it would. Dismissing previously approved content/story-arc isn't acceptable to me. But, meh, I'm just geeking

Wow. Anyway.

Always up for some geeking out!

I'm getting ready to type up my thoughts and projections on squadrons as i feel they will actually dominate wave 1 and be can very easily be the difference between the win and loss. Just waiting for the coffee to kick in.

lol I think you guys should change the opening music to your singing. :D

That's a great idea, but we're trying not to be flagged explicit! Surely our singing is as offensive to the ears as anything...
