Hard choice

Hi , rookie here ! So i'm about to buy some stuff and i have some lists i made to chose from but i still can't decide what to do , what you think of these lists ?

3x b-wings + FCS

Biggs + stealth

The first and second are big classics, so it's always a good choice.

I played the three daggers sometimes and it hits really hard, may suffer arc dodgers.

The fourth is the one i'm less confident, i'd not choose that one

I like the second list: sensors+tiny k-turns=win.

Can't say I'm a fan of the fourth list. It's completely dependant on Wes getting to attack in order to set up Opportunist, and Wes has nothing to protect him. You might get a round or two to try and lay on some heavy hurt, but all your opponent needs to do is arc dodge Wes and focus fire him down (and with an X-Wing, that won't be super difficult). If you can keep Wes alive and shooting, it's a solid group. I'd say against squads with a big ship you should be able to chew through it. Then again, a lot of big ships run builds that give them both a focus and an evade the same turn, which would kill opportunist. Feel free to give them a go sometime and report back, though. I imagine they'd be killer if Wes Janson doesn't get vaporized.

And that first list... eh, Biggs with Stealth Device. You get to three agility, which is the same as a regular TIE Fighter, except you can't take Evade. It might save Biggs from one hit, which isn't worth it.

Having flown versions of that list quite a lot myself *, it's perfectly playable. Wes does tend to die early, but you hand out so much pain on the first pass that you should do much more hurt to them in reply, usually more than enough for Wedge and Farlander to mop up. The list is very dependent on that first pass, though; if your opponent does muck it up for you, or if you just have an off day with the dice, then it can struggle.

It's a solid list. Has weaknesses, like all lists, but it usually works and is hilariously good fun if you just want to hand out massive damage.

* Though personally I prefer just Opportunist on Farlander (he's a big enough target already), R3-A2 on Wes (to exploit the fact that he shoots before Phantoms), and R2 Astromech on Wedge (so he can more easily clear Opportunist stress). Then leave that last point free for an initiative bid to help make sure you shoot first.

I was thinking too that the triple ace list wasn't beefy enough* but i needed a confirm . So i was thinking on how to get a better high ps list , what about :

Nera + FCS + HLC + swarm tactics + E2 + tactician/merc

Blue + FCS + HLC + E2 + tactician/merc

Roark + blaster + recon spec
