So.... Extra Munitions. Essentially double-loading ordnance for a serious cost reduction.
Well, one of my favourite bits of ordnance is Cluster Missiles - I like it because I find range 1-2 more useable than range 2-3 - especially when talking about multiple turns of fire.

That leaves 6 points for additional upgrades - enough to equip Ion Pulse Missiles on two of the Bombers - good for pinning down Large Ships, or Fletchette Torpedoes on all the Generics (Giving me a range 3 spread of fire if I need it), or Seismic Charges on the Generics (giving me two turns of pattern-dropped bombs).
....The other thought (largely because I want to give them a try) is four Gamma Squadron Pilots with Proton Bombs and Extra Munitions. I've always been wary of proton bombs, because throwing five points out the back as a one-use bomb strikes me as too expensive. By comparison, extra munitions doubles your bomb load for less than a 50% cost increase.
