We are going to see these in August, at best. Unless they were really, really holding back on Wave 7. They tend to shoot for 4 months post announcement. We will see how well they do this time.

Yeah, third quarter is believable. September to early October it is.

My money is on GenCon. End of July/First week of august and a huge hype-train to use. It'll likely be like the YT-2400 and VT-49 and be at GenCon for sale but not on shelves till a bit later.

It's just one more reason to be excited about GenCon really. Marketing wise, it makes the most sense.

Oh wow, they did! It wasn't like that this morning, let alone last night. I screenshotted the tab I'd had open from this morning for posterity.

Third quarter definitely is more believable — I mean, anything would be more believable than an outright lie like saying these ships would be on store shelves two months from now. But I still think it'll get an early release at GenCon on July 30 and hit retailers in late October — a month after quarter three ends in September. In other words, even quarter three seems unlikely given FFG's track record of bringing product to market. They announce things six months before they're sold, which I'll consider a truth until FFG proves me wrong.

I would say same release as wave 5. Maybe a little faster after gencon though. But I would expect a presale at gencon. Maybe a tournament like kessel run or imdaar alpha too

They are meaningless, just like every other projected release date FFG ever gives us for this game.

After playing this game for over 2 years now, I have learned that the ships will be on the shelves when they're on the shelves. Don't plan your life around FFG's release dates, you will get burned.

I actually believe this one will be on time. Why? Because they are following more tight lipped announcements. They saw what was happening and trying to correct it. If this wave does disappoint on delivery estimates, then yes, all delivery dates can be expected to be wrong.

No. The Raider wasn't even announced until mid-December 2014. It was projected for quarter one 2015, which ended nearly a month ago, and the thing isn't even on the boat yet.

Also, Wave 6 was announced in mid-August at GenCon and projected at the time to be a quarter four 2014 release. It came out late February 2015.
