The following, atmospheric text is meant to give an impression how a hive can have derelict, abandoned districts while free space seems to be a scarce commodity. The article is ready-made to be read as an introduction by the GM, prior to the start of the session, even if it will take a while till the characters will actually visit a desolated part of the hive.

Der folgende, als atmosphärischer Text geschriebene Artikel soll ein Bild davon vermitteln, warum eine Makropole verlassene, verfallene Distrikte hat obwohl auf der anderen Seite Platz ein knappes Gut zu sein scheint. Der Text kann vom Spielleiter als Einleitung vor einer Spielsitzung vorgelesen werden, auch wenn es erst später zu Szenen in einem verfallenen Teil der Makropole kommt.
