Hound's Tooth Upgrade Card

I get the sneaking suspicion that this will be a must upgrade for this ship although, the exact mechanics of the Hound's Tooth upgrade card for the YV-666 has not been revealed yet,.

The lack of information on this mechanic still leaves many questions. The upgrade cost 6(?) points, half the cost a generic Z-95. Will the player still have to pay for the rest of the cost of the Z-95? This could be the major downside to this upgrade; paying full cost for a ship that may not even enter play. How will points values work in tournement play when the Hound's Tooth is destroy, but not the Nashtah Pup.

Looking past wave 7, this new mechanic begs the following question. Will there be ships added to X-wing that will have a launch bay like ability such as the Gozanti-class armed transport?

Getting a change to look at some of the ships and upgrades for wave 7 has definitely peaked my interested, especially since we are possible seeing the foundation for huge changes in the future meta of the game. Mind you, wave 7 has made huge changes in the meta by making munition ships more viable to play and adding a list of possibly more useful mine types.

I can't imagine that you'd have to pay an extra cost on top of the title card, simply because you may never see the ship deployed. You're basically building a 94-point list with a 6-point Z95 in your side-bar.

As for future ships to use this mechanic, the Ghost from Rebels seems like a prime contender.

I could see this, especially in epic game play where you could use an interaction between the assault transport and a huge ship to partially cripple the huge ship.
