If FFG had made the expansion but changed the miniature into a Re-paint of the TIE/sa Bomber, even one with just two stripes as a difference, I would have been ecstatic.

Loaded up, even with extra munitions, it can easily become a heavy point-sink (pun intended )

And it doesn´t have barrel roll! (admittedly that would look hillarious! )

Or the Tie Heavy Bomber with 2 ordnance pods ... those 4 pods of the Pun is a bit over the top for +1 bomb slot, compared to the Tie Bomber.

Maybe each one of the pods got its own thruster, so 4 are needed to have an explanation for the boost feat

Everyone has their own preferences. Just be sure not to hold up your preferences as definitive. We are at the point where pretty much each and every Imperial or Rebel ship is pretty obscure. Scum still has the somewhat less obscure BH ships, but then they go pretty obscure.

That's true, and like the K-wing, the alternate choice being the Scimitar is an extremely divisive ship.

Gunboats are extremely ugly IMO, would much rather have the Interdictor.

I'm glad I'm not alone. The punisher is really starting to grow on me if the dial is ok it might be my new favorite imperial ship. I hope this leads way to the tie punishiest that somone else "leaked' a few days ago

I want to equip all my Twin Ion Engine Fighters with Twin Ion Engines. I had no Idea there is one missing in each.

I'd laugh if this led to generic phantoms being superagile and deadly.

If it is a modification, you still want to equip ACD when it comes to Whisper and Echo

As well as ATs on your Interceptors.

Honestly I'd say no, and the lambda would have had a rear arc.

As a casual player I welcome the new waves and look forward to adding them to my growing legion.

Would like to point out to people moaning that the ship has only ever had an appearance in a game- the Imperial Raider was specifically invented for the X wing platform, it too is amazing.

Also, wave 8 is most likely going to be a series of 'updated' / new ships from the long awaited Episode VII just saying.

I have played Alliance, just not back then. I'm still working on the DF series.

I'm not a fan of the Missile boat, it jut looks...strange to me. The Punisher makes sense in my mind- more pods for more weapons/systems in a very Imperial looking style.

Looks like Seinar Fleet Systems or the Kuat Drive Yards said "Well we need a heavier bomber and have all these spare parts..."

Really wish the Skipray gets in though- looks good and has some decent upgrade possibilities.
