Mane? F? (YV 666 only)

HELP?! What type of upgrade is this even?

Maneuvering Fins.

How about Ion Projector?

Looks like

After...

executes...

overlaps?..

ship..

a [hit]...

enemy...

1...

Maybe after you complete a maneuver that overlaps, roll a die and on a hit, enemy takes a damage and gets an ion token.

Bossk's ability is ******* boss...k.

...

I know, I'm sorry. Fly casual.

Now, it has two large ship only cards that read: Ion Pr- (protection?)(projector?)(pricing?)(production?)

After? ...

executes ...

causes? ....

ship, roll....

a [kaboom] or ....

enemy ...

1 ion token.

Is this a better pursuit laser? I hope this isn't a discard effect, because holy crap. I swear to GOD, if this is scum only, I will take a sharpie to cross that part out.

That's what I could make out.

Ion projector looks lime it'll be similar to APL, but with ions

It is Moralo Eval in the PS6 YV-666. The original info release picture had his base (with the misprinted 7 Hull) clearly visible.

They changed it to Bossk when they fixed the amount of hull the YV has, but you can still dig up the original in a few places, zoom in, and clearly make out the word "Eval".

Also, it seems Latts Razzi is the likely candidate for the PS5. She's a bounty hunter and she's rode inside the Hound's Tooth before alongside Bossk.

First time I've ever seen someone call hits "booms".

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I think I learned that from themetalbikini.com He uses [boom] [kaboom] rather than hit/crit to avoid confusion between rolling a hit result and having an attack actually hit.

Maneuvering fins are almost certainly a modification. I mean, with no icon they can only be a mod or a title, and title clearly doesn't work.

Really? Been fairly common (but by no means universal) on this board for the better part of a year. Filled explosions are booms, unfilled ones are kabooms, or occasionally kablams. Avoids confusing new players who don't understand the game definition of "hit" (uncancelled boom or kaboom results).

Interesting, another Clone Wars reference...

I'm overly excited by the inclusion of an Engine Upgrade!

It's one of the most useful cards in the game, but before it's only been available in the Millennium Falcon box. A ship that's a) impossible to get hold of; and b) the dullest ship in the game to use...

Also note another Z-95 dial will make it a little easier to field swarms of them in a tournament environment :)

So maybe this is the wrong place for this but oh well. Curious wether we will be including the z95 pup as part of the hounds tooth overall survivabilty? So yes it has 12 hp and 1 agility but will we include the 4 extra hp and 2 agility from the z95 as well? Also points efficiency will this also be combined? Granted we need to know what the pup costs but still just wondering.

Keep in mind that every pilot token has 2 sides...we are shown the pilot card for the pup, but look at the PS skill on the pup...asterisk...I'm guessing it will take on the ps of the YV-666 that was destroyed. Also, look at the Z95 ship token...it clearly says "Bossk" or is at least of sufficient length, and is ps 7, which shares a PS with Bossk.

What does this mean? Bossk is also a Z95 pilot, in addition to the YV-666 pilot and crew card...this opens up new worlds for other specific pilots that already exist to be made into pilots for other ships....YESSSS!

It is basically getting a Z-95 for 6 points. But how does this count for tournaments. If the Z-95 is still alive, how many points is it worth. Does that mean you do not get the points for killing Hound's Tooth until the Z-95 is also dead?

Yes I hadn't thought about that either. That brings up a whole nother story. They are essentially giving you a half priced z95 but pilot skill 7. A pilot skill 7 should be around 15 or so points if there are no pilot abilities. So really that's 9 points for free. I dunno if this is making sense haha.

its nice because you also get rid of all the criticals you took.

but you also get rid of any upgrades, and are stuck with a 2 attack.

The image has updated, both card and token indicate 6 hull now

I feel you missed an opportunity to link to the "Let's Enhance!" video. My work here is done.

While that's true, I don't see a pilot card for Bossk in a Z95. So I have a hard time believing that you're going to be able to fly a Z95 piloted by Bossk. Though it is possible that his crew card itself can launch him in a Z95 instead of the Nashtah Pup or something like that. Or they just had another side and didn't want to give us another generic because that would be too useful, so instead they wanted us salivating over the idea of getting Bossk as a pilot for the Z95.

Has anyone figured out why they're including a Z95 dial? Is it just because they're maintaining the illusion that you need matching faction dials, even though they're not enforcing it anymore?

I've been thinking about that too. Do we think its possible they made the pup's pilot card double sided like the insert? So that bossk's stats are on the back of the Nashtah Pup Pilot card? They've never used the backs of pilot cards before (sadly).

The Bossk crew member may have an association with the Bossk ship token. Like you could use Bossk crew member's ability or the pilot's ability in the ship.

I think the Z95 card will just be basic and the Hound's Tooth title will say '...with the pilot skill and name of the ship with the Hound's Tooth title' or something to that effect. Hence the little weird icon where pilot skill normally is.

And I assume Bossk's crew ability will be similar to his pilot ability but not exactly the same. Like Dash v Dash crew.

Undoubtably. The pilot card we see for the pup has an asterisk for the PS and says "Nashtah Pup Pilot" for the pilots name. The problem is that the BASE INSERT for the pup has a PS of 7 and says Bossk. They don't match. Now, base inserts are double sided. The generic pilot and *PS could be on the back of that, but we don't seem to have a z-95 pilot card that matches the Bossk base insert.

That's the question. Will be be able to simply take Bossk as a z-95 pilot in our squads?
