Enhance! (Hound's Tooth)

The Nashtah Pup was the biggest "woah moment" for me in wave 7. Big props to FFG for throwing in this little curveball.

I'm guessing there will be two cardboard inserts for Z-95 with name and pilot skill for each YV-666 pilot. Certainly pilot skill seems to carry over to the Nashtah Pup. Not certain is if pilot ability will continue. I say it is unlikely because it would severely limit design space. Bossk seems OK in a Z-95 but most pilot abilities tie in with a specific ship.

Can you fly Bossk in the Pup right at the start of the game? My guess is no because costing would be problematic. The Nashtah Pup card seems to imply that there will not be a separate Z95 card for each pilot. No card means no point cost for the Pup on its own.

We only see 1 insert for the pup in the component spread, so I'm pretty sure we're not getting different inserts for each pilot.

It's a mystery. There really doesn't seem to be a way to reconcile what we are seeing unless there are components missing from the picture or the pup pilot card is double sided.

The only thing I can think of is if the Bossk insert is directly attributed to the Bossk crew card. After an attack hits, you may substitute all of your <booms> for 1 <kaboom>. If equipped on the Hound's Tooth, the Nashtah Pup gains this ability. 2 points.

Or perhaps his crew is specifically for Hound's Tooth, and is something like: "You may deploy the Nashtah Pup from Hound's Tooth as an action. 6 Points" or maybe it modifies how it is deployed - using a 2 straight template from the rear instead of placing it at the edge.

I don't think that each pilot will be available individually as z95 pilots. The "Nashtah Pup Pilot" card will reflect the pilot who chooses the Hounds Tooth title, obviously, now wether it transfers abilities or it's stats (I don't think we will see 2/2/2/2) we don't know. But I think the reason for the base insert having a 7 and Bossk is to differentiate between other Z's and simply for sake of order in the game.

Also, It looks like the Ion P___ might be Ion Probe and works like APL

I don't think that each pilot will be available individually as z-95 pilots, but I do think it might be possible that Bossk is.

I like the idea of an Ion version of APL. Team up with Dace Bonearm, throw someone in with Wingman potentially, hit them with extra damage when they bump your big ship, Wingman clears the stress, hit the with Ion again during combat to add another free damage.

There will be one "Pilot" card for the Pup (with the *PS skill) and card board tokens for each of the four pilots with their corresponding PS . This way we can't take them as "only" a Z-95 pilot but must have them flying the Hound's Tooth first.

You sound very sure. Have you checked?

You know that normally the pictures show you every component included in the pack, so people are currently trying to reconcile the picture with what could be possible.

I think the double sided Pilot card is the best suggestion, but I like the idea that the Bossk tile we see is actually for a separate Z-95 Bossk pilot, with a points cost. And the pup side will just take on the Pilot skill of the Hounds Tooth pilot you were using (even Bossk)

This would mean if you wanted to field the hounds tooth and the Bossk Z-95 you would need to buy 2 Hounds Tooth expansions though.

EDIT: Unless the Bossk, Hounds Tooth Pilot card is double sided and not the Natash Pup

That would make sense as a Bossk Pilot card that can be used in a Z-95 or a YV-666.
