What is the recommended process for prepping the resin ships for painting?
Is there a mold release agent that needs to be removed?

Cool, I like simple! Thanks.
Sorry No, I am focused on capital ships for the rest of the year.
Here are some painted corvettes/light cruisers. Awesome paint jobs by James from Science Fiction Modeler :
Assassin Corvette
Carrack:
Gunship:
CR70 Corvette:
CR90 Corvette:
Marauder Corvette:
That Carrack especially, looks very cool!
I can hardly wait to add one to my imperial fleet!
Please tell me that is an Imperial decal, and not painted on.
Otherwise you have mad skills.
Where did you get it?
The work on all of these is simply incredible! It's easy to see that you have so much love for the SW Universe and the Armada game system.
I hope FFG is paying attention. There's so much material here for future Waves that there should be very little reason to invent stuff like the Raider to keep the game fresh.
the LANCER is nice!
Assault Frigate MkIs are on the bench now, I will throw paint on as soon as I can.

It was painted by a buddy of mine, but I have used similar decals in the past. They are super easy to make if you have access to a color laser printer. Just buy some printable waterslide decal paper off ebay for $4, here is an example listing:
then download some high-res imperial and rebel symbols (and pirate and other factions) and print them out in various sizes to fit the different capital ships.
Testors sells the paper and the spray to seal them for cheap as well.
I'm just curious but how are you mounting the resin ships on the stands? I didn't see any way to do this when my transports and gunship arrived. (Which look quite excellent by the way.)
The Assault Frigate has the medium base peg moulded right into the design, so fits on free of fuss.

The smaller ships don't have integrated pegs for the stands but I have pegs you can glue on. If you need me to send you some just send me a PM.
Love the Assassin Corvette and the FarStar. Does anyone have any plans to make Night Caller/Constrictor? I'm not sure there are canon drawings anywhere but it seems like it would maybe have a unique bow hold section below the bridge and a tractor beam turret.
Hi guys,
Would you have any more photos of these ships painted
Thanks!

Very nice! thanks Diablo!
Utar, are those V-wing tests just the v-wing in landing position, or are they "flip up" wings?

Those are just the landed version by request for someone building a 1/2256 scale venator SD model. He wanted to add some detail to the landing bay.
OK. Still cool.
Will you post pics on your blog when he is finished?
I saw that you did models for the assult frigate mk1 version 1-4 is only the version 4 available in Armada scale?
Is the Armada scale for the Bulk Cruiser available?
