Assault frigate, awesome, love it. Do you think it would be possible to hide the medium connector further inside the Dreadnought hull to make it not stick out? I know this is a knit pick, but would really help the look of the model. Helps the assault frigate look a great deal.

Good question on the difference between Assault Frig Mark I and II. There is no clear difference on wookieepedia in terms of weapons, although the Mark II is supposed to be a newer model. It sort of implies that the Mark II would have better shields.

These look incredible. I hope when you release them in resin I can see the update. I just can not afford shapeways for anything bigger than fighters and such.

It should say length/width/height right under the image on each model.

No, most of my stuff (this thread) is sliding scale to match the FFG sliding scale. But I am also working on a separate 1/7000 scale fleet. I've been meaning to post some 7000 scale stuff on shapeways. I'll go ahead and post the corvettes.

Ahh, so they don't have anything to do with the Armada VSDs?

The small ship squadron flight peg toppers are cool. That will make some good CR-90 squadron bases.

Any word on the quality of the large ships when printed in WSF?

Where are the resin versions available?

The remaining corvettes and smaller ships are now available in resin (Consular, Light Asslt Cruiser, GR-75, BFF-1, IPV-1). The larger ones (Dread, Assault Frig MK I, Escort Carrier) will take two more weeks. The large ships will have to be reworked to print is WSF, but as far as the quality check Mel's post showing the difference between FUD and WSF on the venator. That is indicative of what you will see with WSF; much of the surface detail is washed out but overall shape is good.

Those look awesome! Especially the GR-75 and the BFF-1.

That Carrack Cruiser is so sexy...gunna have to save up for one.

Sorry, been off the net for a while. I try to take a comparison picture with FFG ships as soon as I get a new resin version done. So for the most part if you see pictures of a ship on this threat they are available. I'll try to get some pics of the Assault frigate MK I tonight.

I thought I had put them on shapeways but I guess not if you like I can put them up.

Here are some initial shots of the resin dreadnaught, assault frigate mark I, and imperial escort carrier. I will get some more pics over the next week or so including parts break out and comparison with the FFG ships.
