When I showed the wave 7 models to my wife who is a player as well, the first thing she noticed was how much bigger the ships in this wave are compared to past ships. This led to a discussion about whether FFG will raise the price of these ships from $15ish for a small base ship to $20 to compensate for the larger size, bigger packaging and more cardboard pieces. With the Houndstooth being even bigger than a large base, I'd hate to speculate it's cost.

The given is that I will probably get one of each anyway.... but am I wrong for thinking about this?

Hound's Tooth is $40

Kihraxz Fighter is $15

K-Wing is $20

TIE Punisher is $20

They confirmed that Hound's Tooth is $40, K-wing and Punisher $20, and the Khiraxz is $15.

Hounds Tooth including Engine Upgrade? Sweet! I mean I already have a ton of those but still, it's about time EU spread out a bit!

Perhaps it's just me, but I can't see the Hound's Tooth being $40. True, it's longer than the base, but so is the Falcon, and it was only $30. The Decimator was the first ship to break that trend and went up to $40, but it's longer and wider (and taller than the MF) than the base. Hound's Tooth is very skinny all things considered.

But I could see the TIE/pun and KW being $20 like the Starviper. I hope not, but the precedent has already been set.

Edit: Apparently they've already announced the pricing and the HT is $40.

So by nope you actually mean yes because they're above 15?

Those are decimator viper prices.

Well, then I guess I was half right. I did not think they would be listed yet.
