You can see all the types of cards that are in the blisters. There are EPTs, illicits, bombs, and a few more ordnance. There is nothing there that would effect ordnance, with the exception of EPTs. Those, though, don't work with generics.

What I see is the role of the Tie Bomber goes from ordnance carrier to a bomber. Sure, it's called Tie Bomber, but it really wasn't one before. If you like the Tie Bomber being played the way it's been written to run now, you won't see much improvement in the new cards. If you want to find a new use for Tie Bombers then you might be OK with some options. Having one as a control vehicle is one of those, but it totally changes the role of the Tie Bomber to what it's been so far.

PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME HOW YOU KNOW WHAT THE NEW ORDNANCE IS

For all we know, it could be stuff that synergizes well for generics. It might be stuff that doesn't spend the TL e.g.

If you look at the pictures of what's been shown in their articles, you can see. You can see that there are only two new ordnance that we don't know what they are (not counting bombs as ordnance). This picture shows it best:

You can see Plasma Torpedo and Adv. Homing Missile. On the later, you can see that it is 3 red attack dice. The range is 2 only. It is 3 pts. You can't see the rest. Unknown on the first.

Who would of thought that ffg would be able to do there jobs well. Chadwick, this most likely won't be the only fix they give. They are is still next wave and any aces type pack they make.

For all we know that plasma torpedo can be a balanced powerful ranged attack, which a bomber can fire twice.

Adv Homers could be nastier than you might think also.

Proton torps are still proton torps.

Concussion missiles are still concussion missiles, so yeah you got me there.

I'd argue that the only fix for those is erratas to change the wording to make this cards rebalanced.

Extra munitions is torp upgrade. Good for ships with two torp slots as you second torp (of the same type as your first) just costs two points. Also you don't have to lose a huge point investment due to the critical hit munitions failure.

But for missile only ships: extra munitions doesn't work.

I think the K-wing borrows a lot of elements from world war 2 bombers. the turrets, the engines (minus the props of course) the main wing and it's relationship to the fuselage (high mounted, perpendicular)

I think that world war 2 bombers had a very cobbled together look, because they evolved with a lot of field modifications throughout the war (like chin turrets)

I have always liked them, and I find the Kwing growing on me, like a fungus, but still.... It's still overdone, too many engines, too much ordnance....... but I like it's soul.

I need to go pour bleach in my eyes now.

I can see it now, a wing of K-Wings escorted by E-Wings rushes to deliver its ordnance to an Imperial Raider raining streams of lasers upon a helpless transport, its X-Wings and Y-Wings doing their best to chase away Imperial Interdictors and Bombers.

On the k-wing pilot cards there is an upgrade on the very far left. What is that?

The cards are one thing and a step towards making secondary weapons beyond cannons work. What some of you who are still bummed are forgetting is that this wave could easily be accompanied by a FAQ/Errata update that adds additional changes the same way large base barrel roll was updated for the YT2400 release. The same could apply here. Have some faith.

Full of love is a bit of a strong term. There is a lot of disapointment over what they are actually doing with ordnance in the wave.

In X-Wing terms, I guess you could say we did a K-Turn.

If anything the Krack-wing reminds me of this:

They should of used this model for the K-wing. Its way more in-line with the other Rebel ships:
