That the YV666 Cards say 6 Hull, but the tiles say 7 Hull?
Anyone Else Notice...
Yep
Yarp
Yarp
...narp?
I guess the question is, which is correct?
I'm guessing that since titles often override existing features of the card they are assigned to (i.e., a naked Interceptor may onle choose a single modification, while the Royal Guard title allows it to take two), the values on the title card override the values on the ship card.
Theyll probably fix it before the release..
If it makes any difference (probably does, but who knows which way), the ship tile shown during the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim had the same '6' hull as the card has.
So...yeah, it's one of those. ![]()
Gut feeling? It was 6/6 originally. That original art is what was available when they were prepping their #SWCA PowerPoint deck (I'd be shocked speechless if they weren't working on that presentation for at least 2 or 3 weeks before they had to do it - there is so much money at stake selling their message to such a massive audience...), and so that is what got used in the deck.
At some point, FFG playtesting decided that '7' was the right amount of hull for the cost they were pinning on the ship, and by the time of today's preview, some of the art assets had been updated with the new value and some had not.
But that's just a hunch - could just as easily be the other way (7 going down to 6, with the #SWCA art being the cutting-edge latest, and this article's art falling by the wayside in the effort to get prepped for Anaheim).
