So I've seen a few posts here and there where people are asking for an Imperial Walker, At-At, to be added to the game. So that makes me question if they were to do that, would we get a ground combat game similar to armada where each player leads an army for dominance? Or will we see this game get scaled up similar to how Dust Tactics sorta evolved into Dust Warfare?
Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds?
Maybe if the minis were in 15mm scale - otherwise I think AT-ATs would be WAY too large for tabletop play.
Funny you asked this question. I am currently working on a home rule set for an army scale expansion to the rules. My working name is SW: Imperial Warfare. I will post it when I get some words on paper. One thing you will need though is a Rackham AT-43 tape measure the way I am going.

Oh. I thought this forum was about the 2001 PC game, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. Imagine my disappointment...
Well we are not getting closure to a wookie army. I am not so sure about a gungan army though.

I was trying to think of a snazzy name for the scaled up game, have to say that I like the sound of Imperial Warfare. Though I guess for the Rebels to field vehicles you may need to use some of the old SW minis from WOC until we get some FFG releases, which I don't think we will be seeing for a while.
Yeah, for my play testing I am making a couple papercraft hover tanks and a papercraft TIE Bomber and Y-wing. The challenge at the moment is to determine which rules from Dust Warfare to keep and what from IA to keep. The other important part is to keep as much of the basics from IA so you can still use all of your deployment cards.
