My biggest 'want' right now is a second aces pack featuring repainted X-wing and Y-wing, some cool new (and hopefully less situational) astromechs, the rest of the Battle of Yavin pilots (e.g. Branon, Nett, Tiree etc.) plus a few from the X-wing series including generics like Rogue Squadron X-wing and Defender Squadron Y-wing.

Maybe throw in a Death Star turbolaser too.

X-wings do deserve to be in an ace pack...

Do we ever see a Tie Bomber / Tie Defender ace pack?

I would like to see a TIE bomber ace pack - two bombers. Or better yet, a reinforcement pack two bombers and a regular TIE.

Yep, the best thing right now would be an aces pack of the X-Wing and Y-Wing.

New astromechs... maybe one that allows you to add savaged astromechs to Rebel ships.

Just my guess, though it is mainly based off of what I hope shows up in the game. I'm fairly certain that Zuckuss and 4-LOM will make an appearance in addition to Dengar. It helps that the Mist Hunter could probably be a small base like the HWK and the Punishing One can round out another large base, Falcon-esque ship for the Scum Faction. I want the Cloakshape fighter to happen because it looks so cool and fits with the theme that you can run a scum squad where no two fighters are alike. I also really want to see Uglies happen because nothing is scummier than an Ugly. I feel as though Rebels and Imperials may get some help from aces packs on the bookends of the small base ships they have, binding together wave 1 and wave 4. The TIE/Ln may not actually need help but more pilots with new abilities always add more depth to squad planning and tactics. The Defender could also use a few more pilots and perhaps some Defender-unique upgrades that can really make the white K-turn stand out. The X-wing and E-wing already have some stand out pilots but both ships are lamented for their exceeding cost vs. survivability. Additionally the Generics have been ridiculed for being seemingly unplayable in a viable tournament squad as compared to other generics of the same point cost. New Astromechs are also always welcome. Whistler? Anybody?

Which makes me think that some of the ships I predicted for Wave 7 will move to Wave 8.

The Havoc is in Armada. The Punishing One has been hinted at by the designers. So they're bound to come out at some point.

The Star Wing is a huge fan favorite, but every Imperial small ship has been a TIE of some sort. Will this be the wave that they break out of the TIE rut? The XG-1 is a prime candidate since it's prominently displayed in the RPG and in video games.

The VCX-100 is a long shot. Rebels have a lot of turret large ships. And the big question would be whether the named pilot would be Kanan Jarrus or Caleb Dume.

Considering the name of the first anthology film, Rogue One, I'm not so sure we will see a rogue squadron aces pack. The idea of what rogue squadron may have been could be completely thrown out at this point.

We only see Rogue Group on Hoth, and they fly airspeeders. Rogue 2 wasn't even Wedge. Perhaps Rogue Group isn't a fighter squad, but something else.

Don't believe that Rogue One has anything to do with Rogue Squadron. Confusing, I know.

One of the dozen xwing upgraded models since it wouldn't be xwing miniatures without a predominant xwing. Take your choice there was constant upgrades throughout the entire lore. I'm expecting a t-65c version either a2 or a4 with an improved movement and systems. Probably some graded variant giving a title boost to the t-65b variants we have as well.

If nothing else, the production value on your guess is impressive

Always drives me nuts when people suggest the yts get remade as scum. That would pretty much leave rebels with what the b wing and e wing as the only ships that scum doesn't share.

I can see how that'd be annoying, but it IS consistent with the lore. As Scum and the Alliance get most of their ships from the same places.

In fact, pretty much all the famous YT pilots WERE Scum, right up until they joined the Alliance.

I think he's referring to the fact that they chose to make a ship that is literally just one of the existing ships enlarged with some parts duplicated, rather than the Missile Boat which is a unique design and would have been a more significantly different gameplay element.

Well the Interdictor definitely beats both Boats.

With Wave 7 and the Raider nowhere on the horizon, Wave 8 might not get announced until next year. Now that all 3 faction are filled out, one wave a year seems plenty.
