to having ship to ship docking and launching, such as Ties on a GOZANTI?!? ![]()
Will the Hounds Tooth and Nashtah Pup open the door...
Or the new ship from the Vader comics, which had Vader's TIE/ad docked? Sweet.
Or the ship from Rebels cartoon
I certainty hope so! I very much want a Gonzati that has some sort of undocking mechanic for Epic. And the awing carrier from the Rebels season 2 trailer would be amazing!
I don't foresee actual docking. Undocking, probably.

Holy crap that would be the biggest ship they released YET if they did.
...Hm. I wonder if "Rebels" is the finale wave before Episode VII's XWMG version is released..?
I don't think we're going to see Rebels ships in this game.

Your right. Imperials and Scum all the way.
Now excuse me while I dispose of my collection...
I don't think we're going to see Rebels ships in this game.
I don't know. I'm pretty sure we will eventually. The mechanics are all laid out now, and soon to be proven.

I for one cannot wait for the X-wing. My favorite Rebel ship ![]()

Right, but someone asked at the panel, and Steve Horvath said it was way too soon to be able to talk about that. His tone and demeanor suggested that he meant what he said in a less than optimistic light. My take away was that if it happens, it will be a very long time from now. But I wouldn't hold my breath.
Edited by WonderWAAAGHanyone else think they were deliberately hiding the stats of the nashtah pup?
to having ship to ship docking and launching, such as Ties on a GOZANTI?!?
Was just thinking this.
I think they're just hiding the text, which probably allows the Pup to use the same abilities/PS of the parent ship. Note the asterisk where the PS should be on the card.
And the fact that the token says "PS7 Bossk".
If a Gozanti were to use the same mechanics as the Tooth it'd only spawn the TIEs when the Gozanti went down.
The token might be a misrepresentation, considering all of the deficiencies in the article. The card should match the tile in some respect, there's a typo where the hull stat is on the Hound's tile, and the Punisher has no TL tokens. So, either the Pup's tile is also an early mockup or misprint, or the pack comes with multiple tiles - one for each potential Hound pilot.
Edited by WonderWAAAGHI hope we don't see SW:Rebels' ships in X-Wing. Like or dislike for the show aside, the show (and ships contained within it) are animated to a certain style. It is not realistic, it is cartoony and exaggerated. This style is not compatible with X-Wing's realism.
For this reason, I hope the animated ships remain in animated space. I know some people are fans .. but I think Rebels' ships belong in a different arena.

They've modified ships to make them fit. Take Z-95s and K-Wings, for example.
If we get some sort of launching mechanism...I want to see the Millennium Falsehood.

They put the z95 base underneath the hounds tooth and the stats are the same as a normal z95. 2's across the board.

Narra+Lunatic?

You mean kind of like how some of the X-wing / TIE fighter game ships had some cruddy graphics when originally represented in the game - which has no place with the realistic ships seen here? Like say the TIE Defender? Or maybe this awesome appearance of the Moldy Crow : http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b241/ATMachine/dfmac5a.png
Just because it is draw / rendered in a particular manner / medium (such as the exaggerated / cartoonish style of Clone Wars and Rebels), it doesn't mean they have to do an exact import of the ships. Actually, I think in some ways, it would be nice to see some of the ships from Rebels, with an eye towards a more technical / realistic version of the ships.
I for one think the Gozanti would add a lot to Epic play at the very least. Really hope if they do make it, it has pegs on the underside to mount TIEs ![]()
The Ghost would be a bit more of a challenge. I imagine they could do a generic VCX-100 Light Freighter, and then have Hera and Kanan as pilots - then sub in a 3rd pilot. Now with the Hound's Tooth having the Nashtah Pup, it kind of gives the Phantom a mechanic as well.
20 bucks the next wave has the ghost and whatever it's shuttle thing is called.
