In X-Wing, as in Star Wars lore, the K-wing’s surprising acceleration, heavy armor plating, and devastating ordnance make it an outstanding ship for hit-and-run operations. you do realize that if you use the SLAM action you cant shoot that turn right? seems pretty fair to me

Well it goes faster that any other ship during that phase and with bombs coming out its ass and with a 360 primary, it's a top tier sniper/bomber.

Any turn a ship voluntarily declines to shoot at me is a turn closer to my victory.

The bombs will make it a problem, though, especially with that 'Advanced SLAM' mod that lets it take a free action if it ends its maneuver in contact with another ship. Going to be very common seeing those things blasting across the battlefield to crash into something and drop a bomb on it...

Advanced SLAM gives an action if the ship DOESN'T bump.

FFG, if you're listening, this is how you sell the K-wing. Include an x-wing only title/mod and every k-wing hater threatening to hold off on wave 7 will buy four K-wings.

That's actually a perfectly elegant fix for teh X wing, I'm a big fan

I like how FFG is slowly introducing more and more elements that echo Corran's ability . . .

First the Y-Wings' double-tap, now the SLAM sacrificing firing for a round . . . what next?

I had a feeling the K-wing's **** awful turret was just an ancillary add on

and now it can't shoot and SLAM ^_^

now I can buy one or two without feeling unclean

I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see an upgrade adding SLAM*, Advanced Engine Upgrade?

*I keep wanting to say STAB. Ten points to the first person to come up with a logical but slightly funny definition of STAB for X-Wing. I tried to think of one for this post buy I failed.

all I can see is "ion" and "advanced slam" (another action for bomb related fun)

I hope Charles Barkley is a K-wing pilot card because it's time to SLAM JAM.

Not gonna' lie, the K-Wing miniature itself is **** near turning me on, especially with all the crap you can load into just one.

Pairing that with Kyle and Luke, good lord yes.

Well, now the Rebels have a Phantom maneuver counter, in a manner of speaking.

It balances nicely with no attack (other than dropping a bomb), though.

In that instance, you would rule that R2s effect can only come into place once per round via the FAQ.
