Umm, boom?
Looks fun. All those new upgrades look interesting. Can't wait to see how they work.

We've also not seen all the new torpedo costs and abilities. So the single-slot ships may have found a new insta-take ordnance card.
And people need to stop complaining about X-Wings. Their Aces set will come. Just be patient. I still see them used WAY more than bombers or ordnance at all.
Well it is nice to see we have turned a game of maneuver into how to lay a minefield in 3 easy lessons. Just what we need mines(bombs floating everywhere in outer space. Unsure about the extra munitions card, still additional cost to have extra rounds, maybe if used with munitions failure it might work. Will have to wait on many of the other items til they are more defined. Cant really judge the ship selection and value until we can see the dials.
This doesnt fix ships that only carry one ordance. WTH? Is there more?
Hopefully some of the new ordnance will help.
Remember how FFG continually emphasized the Z95's role as a missile carrier? Does anyone even use them that way?
Twin Ion Engines(oh man acronyms) will probably take up a modification slot, thus making the impact on Interceptors a little less, since they need AT and HU or SD anyway. Fighter's won't be able to afford it on all ships in the swarm if they want to keep their point efficiency, which means it'll help mainly Defenders, Bombers, Punisher, and Advanced. Probably.
Any idea what the Twin Ion Engines mod does? Could it be the Defender fix folks are looking for ![]()
Hmm, 2 Advanced Proton Torpedos for 8 pts is better than 12.
No, Extra Ordnance is not great for the ships with one slot for Missile/Torpedo. But, I'm getting the impression that the designers were thinking about a different problem than most of the forums. Extra munitions is going to revive torpedos/missiles/bombs on the big carriers. Now, all those slots that have remained empty might see some use. That looks good enough for me.
Now, I just want to see some of those juicy new upgrades. Plasma Torpedo, Advanced Homing Missile, Connor Net, Ion Bomb, and Cluster Mine.
Aggressors with glitterstim is going to cause balance problems. It seems pretty op.
It's a one time use
and you get stress
"The Hound’s Tooth Expansion Pack brings this infamous freighter to life as a towering, large-base miniature starship for the Scum and Villainy faction, rendered at the game’s standard 1/270 scale."
Bull$#!^. There is no way a Z-95 fits inside that thing, even folded up. Scale my ass.

How big is it?
We're getting Conner Nets!

Damnit.
"Miranda Ooni (?) (29):
Once per round when attacking you may either spend 1 shield to roll 1 additional attack OR 1 fewer attack to recover 1 shield."
That should be an upgrade available to everybody, not one piece of pirate trash!
Pirate? Miranda Doni was a K-Wing jockey.
Speaking of K-Wings, dat upgade bar. No EPT for the named ones, though, which is a bit disappointing...
So what do we think the Hound's Tooth's arc will be? Normal shots only at 180? Just cannons at 180? Both?
Rules are already in place for primary and auxiliary arcs. Since they first arrived in wave 2 with the Firespray and YT-1300. Ships can fire their primary weapon from any of their arcs (the arc for a turret is everywhere). Secondary weapons (from upgrade cards) can only be fired from a ship's primary arc, which is the forward facing one that reaches the corners of the base.
Scale my ass.
How big is it?
The correct answer to that question is:
"Not big enough to fit a Z95 in it like it is supposed to"

It's inflatable.
Basic Punisher + Accuracy corrector seems to have potential...

What fiction? Are you even looking at the article? It shows the **** thing coming out of the exploding freighter. There is no way a Z-95 fits inside that slender frame.

No, I mean I'm happy to do the math, but unless I know how big the ass is in the first place, it makes the calculations little more than a guess.

Also, hinged wings would make sense. A slightly modified Z could manage pretty well with it's wings filded in a triangle above/below it.

Whilst I'm happy to also do the math, from the visual evidence of the half dozen or so pictures of the model itself it is quite clear that a to scale Z95 model will not fit inside it, I will happily be proved wrong if once it comes out it does seem feasible but on what we currently have the HT seems too small.
Talghbane Cobra (29):
It's Talonbane Cobra, he was a Star Wars Galaxies NPC
As for everything else....
Hounds Tooth: Looks like only 3 unique upgrades here in Crew Bossk, The Ion Pr(ockets?), and Hounds Tooth. Nashtah Pup is also a cool ability, but it's intriguing we don't get a headhunter with it, despite getting a dial and card
Kihraxz: Talonbane Cobra looks insane, and this looks like the Scum equivalent of an X-Wing. Glitterstim and the new Crac(kshot seems like a good bet, and it has something about discarding when you attack) as well as a Light Refit (possibly, but is an EPT). Glitterstim looks like a lot of fun, and is exactly the type of thing I expected Scum to have up their sleeves.
K-Wing: As a filthy Rebel, this was what I was looking for, and oh boy does it deliver the goods. 2 x Twin what I can only assume is Laser Turrets, Plasma Torpedoes, Advanced Homing Missiles (can't spend evades or focuses, but reduced range?), Ion Mines, SLAM Drives and what I'll be keeping a close eye on (and feel is criminally overlooked) - The Conner Net (the funny looking template down the bottom). Added to what we think the Ace ability is and this wins the-way-too-early 'Ship of the wave' for me, hands down. Also of Note: The Maxed out Upgrade Bar on even the most rookie of pilots: Turret, Torp, Torp, Missile, Crew, Bomb, Bomb. At the points limit, I have a feeling the Dial may suck.
TIE Punisher: Sys Upgrade, 2 Torps, 2 Missiles, 2 Bombs. This looks like a quicker, faster Bomber. What intrigues me most is the Twin Ion Engines Card (what else could it be?) and whether it could be put on other TIEs. Maybe it upgrades Boost to SLAM? Apart from that, we get Cluster Mines, which look like a halfway house between proton bombs and proximity mines to me.
Originally the Nashta Pup was just a small utilitarian trans-atmospheric shuttle. Later, it was said to be a Z95. There was a time when the Nashta Pup could fit in the Hound's Tooth.

So the Hound's Tooth and Z-95 Headhunter are ships that exist in a fictional universe called the Star Wars universe. In at least one form of media showcasing the Hound's Tooth in this universe, it has a Z-95 stored inside. FFG didn't make this up.
Now when FFG designs a ship, they are given the dimensions for the ships by Lucasfilm. They don't make them up. They then scale those dimensions down to the 1/270 scale and that is how we get our mini.
So Lucasfilm says a Z-95 can fit inside the Hound's Tooth. Lucasfilm also says the Hound's Tooth is as big as FFG made it.
So this isn't anything you can blame FFG for. It is a problem with the fiction.
I'm a bit disappointed with the direction they went. It's not really an ordnance fix so much as a boost to ships that can carry multiple types of ordnance.
That said, there are some interesting things you can do.
Sable's proximity mine bomber squad can have 3 mines per ship in exchange for the doom shuttle.
Major Rhymer can take 2 lots of cluster missiles and 2 extra munitions for 6 uses of the cluster missiles at range 1-3. And still have enough for a decent mini swarm.
Firespray with slave 1 title can get extra bombs, as well as taking the Adrasta in another Firespray.
Y-Wings can take bomb load out and extra munitions to give them more bomb uses. Scum can use genius as well.
Much maligned Nera can get a second APT for a fraction of the cost.
It doesn't fix the core problem, but I will be considering using specialist ordnance carriers and see ifi can get them to work.
