Squad-Builder/Wiki/Preview Articles Can All Be Wrong

By ScottieATF, in Star Wars: Armada

This is coming up fairly often in this sub-forum.

The Wiki is a great tool for having game information available to you on your mobile device, but it isn't always going to be correctly updated. Or may simply be using out of date previews.

Squad-Builders are fantastic, but again have the same issues. This isn't a knock on those that develop such things, just a reality of them.

Even Preview Articles from FFG can have out-dated card images or just frankly incorrect interpretations of how a card or rule functions within the game. It's not an uncommon occurence.

Point costs and card effects are always subject to change up until release. It's very important to ensure that you are actually reading what is released rather then relying on the various Internet resources which may not be updated with the correct information. Those resources are supliments but can never take the place of actually reading the cards/rules.

Otherwise we end up with a bunch of misconceptions about objectives, abilities, or what Dondonna actually effects.

???

It is General Dodonna NOT Dondonna :D

Just to complete, all the things you are listing are collective effort, they create communities around the same subject and make people share point of view and opinions in the right way.

It is clearly the bright side of the internet. It makes the X-wing community great and you can expect the same for Armada.

It is just my thought...

bye

It's a good PSA

The only bad thing is it's makinge wish wave 1 would hurry up even more :P
