Hi,

Big fan of smugglers, bounty hunter and all that dirty part of star wars, i am as a scum player waiting for an epic one.

As I don't think it will be coming soon, I a making my onw Epic Ship for the Scum Faction : The Wild Karrde, a modified Action VI Transport modifie and owned by Talon Karrde. It is a little shorter than the tantive, build on the same scale.

Sorry for the picture quality, when the ship will be finish i'll borrow a real camera.

I finished conception, assembly and i black paint it (1st layer) :

Looks awesome, how's it compare in size to the other scum ships? Also, it would be cool to draw from the thrawn trilogy some pilots, crew, upgrades and such.

Approximatively 30 cm, a little shorter than the tantive IV (as in star wars "reality" ). When i'll have painted it, i'll take some nice picture with other ships.

Do not hesitate to name some pilots you would want to be on those cards, maybe with some idea of their capability : i'll work on it as soon as my model is painted.

Nice! I just read the Thrawn trilogy, and when FFG announced S&V, I was hoping for the Wild Karrde; glad to see somebody making it!

Well, if its roughly as big as the corvette, then Im going to assume its a Huge Ship, which means a set of Fore and Aft section cards, with no specific named pilots. As for CREW that you could make for it, that's a hell of a lot easier; Karrde of course and just pull names that were associated with him at times. a Scum version of Mara Jade is the first thing that pops into my head, but he also dealt with Lando and Corran Horn at times, so they could be viable 'crew' for the Wild Karrde too.

Obviously, it's supposed to look like a star yacht, though I suppose it could have some alterations. But not ugly alterations.

some news : painting is over, need some tweaking but i'll do that later. Now i'm looking for a way to make some adaptator for the huge ship support, thinking about the cards etc. New pics when i can.

What did you come up with for cards? I'm at that stage too. We should play test and share results.
