mistakes

Biggest mistake so far, actually getting myself to believe I wasn't going to be buying this game. Man, I sure am gullible.

Using my CR-90 first to fire and turn right in front of a Victory class. Accidentally giving my friend the wrong base for the Victory Class that had 3 Blue and 3 Black dice to attack said CR-90. Hit me so hard it killed my CR-90 twice!

In most games you cant kill the VSD in 6 turns and the imps cant kill the CR90 if running for objectives by mission. If you select missions like suggested by the rules the prediction who will win was 100% correct for our games.

agreed. have not been able to kill the VSD in 6 turns, even when playing fairly aggressively . haven't played enough objective matches to test them all out though. i hope that the game does provide for lots of action/ship destruction going forward though. i think it would be fairly bland if the rebels just ran around the board to collect objectives

That will change as more units become available. Once the Imps can chase the Rebs or the Objectives or both and the Rebs can stand up to the Destroyer then you'll have some variety. Sure various metagame issues will narrow down choices, but they will be there as options.
