Can you make a version of the squadron pegs that replace the peg on the small base?

If I understand this correctly, you mean make a squadron stand that will fit a small ship? For example, to put a corellian corvette on a fighter stand?

If you want that, you dont really need anything. The corellian corvette should fit on the fighters peg perfectly since the diameter is the same. You just need to cut off the two arms for the other two fighters.

Thats not quite what I want to do. I mean to put a squadron on a small small ship stand. I want to do the same for Neb Bs too, one I find a substitute model of it. Ideally it would be the fighter peg with 2 wings on it to model a flotilla of two corvettes, but three will do just fine.

Im currently working on cheap stands for fighters, small ships and large ships. Trying to reduce the amount of material in the original design.

At the same time, I have started working on the 3 Gozantis, the BFF1 and the space stations.

Mel, I have a fairly good BFF digital model you can have if it helps to finish it up and move on to bigger and better ships

What kind of fonts are you using for the card Wes?

Its a true type called Prototype. Should I use a different one? When I print it directly from the file, the title text does not have that slight cutoff at the top. Not sure why the program displays it that way, but these are just screen captures of the working file.

In regards to pirate/scum fighters I was thinking on using the R-41, Cloaks and T-wings mixed on flight stands. Was just going to call them Syndicate Fighter Squadron on the cards and give them a generic stat line. Everyone cool with that?

Asking for some insight Mel, are you going to tackle the Quasar Fire Class Cruiser (Flurry)? I am trying to think of ships we can give to the rebels to maybe help even them out with the current lack of ships. I figure the idea with the Flurry would be to have a high squadron rating and some fighter support cards. Any ship classes that stand out as a cool mid size that may help? Bulk Cruiser?

I love the idea of the Pirates just being a random group of pirate fighters.

The Quasar is far in my to-do list... I believe Utar has it coming. As for other ships this size, there are the clone wars ships that could be used for the rebellion, or the many Mon Calamaris of different sizes. I could also make the (not official) designs done by the guys of Freeworlds of Corellian Frigates and Destroyers:

I forgot about the stands for the Otana, Shuttle and DX-9. It should be a Squadron stand but with just one arm. The Gozantis Ive made them for Small stands, like the Corvette. It felt more fitting for the way they function. At those sizes the sliding scale is just a mess, so I thought I would cheat a little bit (and when you see it next to the Otana or the Ghost, it fits in size)

Yes, I have a flurry in resin (send me a PM if interested). I will see if it's practical to make it available on shapeways.

My short list to work on includes: Dreadnaught, asslt frig mk I, carrack, imperial escort carrier, CC-7700, and bulk cruiser (although I'd love to see Mel make a version too).

That Freeworlds big flat paneled one that looks like a wing is the Liberator Cruiser. That is one I would be on board for. Very simple design, its the one I was trying to think of for the Rebels. Gets my vote.

I am half tempted to make custom size flight bases (45mm?) for the ultra small cap ships and give them a peg centric shield dial. Operate them as single arc vessels that work like fighters. Their anti-ship dice would be of similar design. Single arc 2 dice max attacks. These ships could be targeted by Large vessels with anti-ship fire. I know I am moving outside the game norms, but in the name of fun I doubt it matters.

Does anyone have one of Mel's interdictors yet? I'd love to see what it looks like in WSF, since FUD is so much more expensive...but I am probably buying one in FUD before the end of the day anyway. My will is so weak...

I think the Avenger also needs Counter 2 or 3.

Mike, I tried to keep the avenger in the same ilk as the advanced as it is the production version of the fighter. I think escort and counter together is sort of game breaking because it forces the enemy to attack the advance with escort before other targets. This would guarantee the effect of counter making it a bit over powered IMO.

I purchased the original style Gozanti and the transports trio in Extreme Detail - will post pictures when I get them so people can compare to Ultra detail! If they look awesome, I'll be buying way too many more of them.

If you ever get around to it, you should model the Imperial Customs Corvette and the Imperial Vigil corvette!

Thats why she has 4 blue dice instead of 3 like the normal advanced squadron
