Hello. I am still very new to X-Wing and I picked up a couple of bits and bobs along the way (a few via gifts) to learning the game. So I am looking for some potential builds I can try out using my current collection. First off, a small list of what I have:

• 1 Core Set
• 1 X-Wing Expansion
• 2 B-Wing Expansion
• Rebel Transport Expansion

• 1 Tie Fighter Expansion
• 1 Tie Interceptor Expansion
• 1 Imperial Aces Expansion

I feel like I have a fair amount to work with, but I'm not sure how best to utilize what I got, mostly the gift of the Rebel Transport threw me off a bit because the X-Wing stuff from that is kinda good. To another end, what should I look toward getting next? What expansion or expansions at this point would benefit me the most? That way I have some direction to later down the line as well as something I can use for now.

Do you like Rebels or Imperials more?

With those sets, a BBXX list could be pretty good (Tarn & Biggs, two Blue B's; with some upgrades -- pick astromechs like R2D2 for Biggs and R3A2 for Tarn) for Rebels. For Imperials, I'd go with either three aces (Soontir, Carnor, Turr, for example) -- put Push the Limit on them and shield or hull upgrades; or else pick Soontir, then Howlrunner as a TIE and two more TIEs.

Expanding to get next .. go with what you like. But if building on the lists I suggested: One E-wing expansion gives two upgrades that work well with a BBXX list (Advanced Sensors and R7 Astromech) if you like that. Or get some Z-95s that make nice rebel filler ships, or Rebel Aces if you like your B-wings and want some additional options. If you prefer Imperials, you could pick up a Decimator or TIE Phantom and run it along side the TIEs you have.

Hello and welcome to the game i am quite new too and it s a lot of fun. I personally like playing with rebels an would recommend you to buy the millenium falcon or the yt2400 and the rebel aces pack. Playing with a big ship is really fun and the aces give you great upgrades for your bs and two great models.

As a build i think two x wings like tarn and wedge are a lot of fun or maybe biggs because he is awesome. Xxbb sounds great and it is not that difficult to play. Use a squadbuilder on the internet and play around with a few lists but don t put too much upgrades on them because at the beginning you forget to trigger them all the time in my experience.
