Destroyer with LEDs

By DMGardiner, in Star Wars: Armada

Heres my version of LED's in a destroyer, opened up both sides, cleared out the pegs and replaced with magnets, then drilled the main engines with 3.5mm holes and added 3mm blue leds, smaller engines drilled with small drill bit, and 3mm blue led's put into the existing hole behind.

Fantastic. Really great. Get a photo in low light?

Oh... And now lets see you do the corvette!:). Hey, if someone can do the a wing in x wing...

That is awesome. I can't wait to see if you do it to other ships.

not sure it's possible to do the corvette, i haven't checked but i imagine it's solid as it's already very small

That's really fantastic.

AWESOME!

LED's look good, but the black wash also looks bad ass

What diameter magnets did you use to replace the pegs? Also, where did you get your battery?

Can you list the parts you used? Oh, and how come your Vic is flying backwards? :)

Wow that is sooooooo **** cool

Dang!

How did you get the ship apart? Did it feel pretty fragile when/after you did? Also, it looks like you magnetized the two pieces so you can open it up. Are the two halves staying flush with each other during play?
