Clone Wars is part of the new canon from LFL as well. So showing up in Bounty makes it canon.
And I can't thank the showrunners enough for that. There's a lot of stuff from the former EU they've thrown in that's now established canon. The Hound's Tooth and the Selkath species are the two that really got my nerdbones all giddy.
SELKATH?!
WHERE?
I must see!!!
The episode "The Box" has one, and is also hands down one of the most amazing episodes of the series. Heck it's some of the best SW action ever.
It's a knock-off of "The Cube", but with a who's-who of over-the-top bounty hunters.
The episode "Pursuit of Peace" also gives one (yet another bounty hunter!) significant air time, but isn't quite as awesome of an episode.
And sadly, being Clone Wars, they don't speak with their delightful language like in KOTOR.
And sadly, since it is only seen on-screen and their species never mentioned, they aren't really Selkath anymore. But that language is boss though.
