Don't know if anyone else commented on this, but does it strike anyone lea as kind of funny to use 180 as the basic fleet with the core set vs 200 points? It just seems kind of odd to me for a couple reasons.
First is my OCD need for symmetry, I'm not quite Adrian Monk here, but 200 is such a nice round number. Especially when 300 is the standard fleet size once Wave 1 lands, and then talk of 400 points after Wave 2 left us a chance for a nice 200/300/400/500...progression on fleet sizes.
Secondly, 180 points pretty much limits us to an upgrade or possibly two, and not quite all our fighters. While 200 points gives us all ten fighters (between both sides), and more chances for upgrades.
In all honesty, I think my OCD desires are bigger drivers here than the desire for more upgrade points.
I know nothing says that me and my buddy can't just play 200 if that's what we want, I'm just wondering if anyone else had thought it weird as well. So, anyone feel like giving me some validation here, or am I just being nutty as a fruitcake here?
