I think there's a few more things in the EU left that aren't horrible. What differs is people's opinions about what is horrible or not. FFG is clearly catering to people whose nostalgia is embedded in video games. But that's not all there is.

Personally, I have no problem with wave 7. All of the ships make sense a a realease and only 1 I consider ugly is the hounds tooth but that one is ALMOST cannon since bosk, however briefly, was in fact in the ot. And did I mention I was excited for ordinance fix /bomber buff of somekind? Because there are 2 ships to include that in (actually 3 since they could do anything with hounds tooth) so yea I'm still excited!

Armada will get to the same point X-wing is at. You will see the same complaints once they start releasing uninspired EU ships like the Lancer Frigate and Strike cruiser.

I wondered about the same thing which is one of two reasons I've held off off Armada. But with IA I'm only interested in the Core and Wave 1 to complete the game, so to speak. Maybe with Armada I'll do something similar. Through Wave 2, except for Rouges, it looks okay so maybe if I get in that is where to stop. I was going to wait until later this year so maybe the painting improves on the Neb-B and CR-90 and to see what else is in the mix.

As for X-Wing I'm torn. I wouldn't mind getting a Bomber, X-Wing or whatever fix but... Fixes to fix fixes, upgrades that create more rules and complexity, near auto-Includes that can only be purchased though other models. And I'll admit that I'm not fond of the K-Wing for several reasons.
