FFG jumps the shark?
Oh wow. I'd never seen art for the K-Wing before.
I understand that this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I dig that design. It very much resembles a lumbering old WWII bomber.
The 'Punisher' (lolz) is whatever. TIE ships for the most part just add cockpits or panels wherever. It doesn't look any uglier than the Defender or Bomber to me.
All I see when I see the K-wing is The Homer from the Simpsons.

Because the Missile Boat looks like a minature Naboo ship and not a TIE.
An advantage of the Interdictor in terms of marketing is that it's instantly recognisable as TIE bomber variant. You could call it unoriginal but you can't call it ugly unless you have a similar opinion of the TIE bomber.

Hell I've bought at least 2 of each ship since the start. This is the first time a wave has left me feeling 'meh'.

I guess they'll never give the Imperials a non-TIE ship small base ship. At least this one isn't as bad as a lot of the other TIE variants they could have chosen.
That second one looks more Lambdalike, although more like someone sat on a Lambda.

My thoughts since wave 6 is that the ships themselves probably won't be that exciting, but the things they do, the mechanics, and new upgrades and characters will be really awesome.

I think the XWA Missile Boat is cool. Never liked the TIE Fighter version. But the thing was made to kill TIE Defenders. With missiles.

Armada really is cool.
I can't say I am excited, but I think it is pretty cool that these ships are actually getting made. I'd like to think it opens up the possibility for other lesser known ships getting made.
I'm wondering how those ordnance fixes will be done - I sort of expected large boxes, rather than blisters.

Also, when talking about Lucasfilm jumping the shark, please use "nukes the fridge". It's more appropriate.
