TIE Punisher looks like an Interdictor. Wonder where the Punisher name came from.

It is the TIE interdictor, FFG fleshed it out in Age of Rebellion: Stay On Target. I guess LFL didn't like the confusing name and it got a new one.

But that means this wave is THE ORDNANCE FIX!!!!!!

That is what I meant. I know nothing about EU stuff, and Wookieepedia makes no reference to Punisher.

Looks like its a Rebel/Imp bomber-fix wave like previously suggested, plus a Scum flesh out.

So tie punisher instead of the xg-1 assault gunboat... this makes me sad, love everything else though EVEN the K-wing

I can picture ficklegreendice's face of joy already.

It probably has a weak primary turret though, focusing instead on its ordnance. Wave VII looks to be an expansion for Scum (another bounty hunter and what looks like it could be their X-wing) and two "Super Bombers" for the RA and GE.

It's the first small ship with a primary turret, which in itself is enough to differentiate it from Falcons and Decimators.

can anyone make out any numbers? Hounds tooth looks like 1/1/8/4? could that be right? The small scum ship appears to be 3/2/4/1. Punisher 2/1/6/2? K-wing is so glarey but the attack isn't a 1...

But yes, that is the ship for those not familiar with EU stuff (like me).

Some panel related info - FFG has plans for open level organized play kits, due next year. More info will be forthcoming at Gen Con and worlds regarding competitive level play.

The Wookiee says the Punisher has twin linked bomb bays. Does that mean we'll be able to drop two bombs at a time with this ship?

EDIT: Actually, it looks like that might be the case with the missiles and torpedoes too.

Hound's Tooth looks like it might have 2 forward arcs, the normal one and a 180 degree one.

My list of preferences would have run something like this:

(1) Scimitar Assault Bomber

(2) Xg-1 Starwing

(3) TIE Interdictor Punisher

(4) No New Imperial Ship

(5) Missile Boat

But for some reason they didn't consult me.

I'm not so sure about those primary attack values and will be surprised if they actually release with them.

If they do, then I'll be shocked if either the Punisher or K-wing has a starting price of less than 35 points. The Fighter looks like a Scum version of an X-Wing, complete with PS9 pilot.

Vorpal, how could you want the Scimitar? How?

The TIE punterdictor is about on the same rank as the FractalSponge XG-1 for me in terms of like (becase SWGB was my childhood) and just above the original black XG-1.

You must not be familiar with the one from X-Wing Alliance.

And also, it came out long before the Prequels did.

The TIE fighter missile boat looks like a crushed Lambda.

The other one still looks like a Naboo starship.
