Anyone know what's going on with the playmats?

The UK distributer apparently has no idea if/when they'll have some, FFG have it listed as out of stock, but it's not listed on their Upcoming page.

Anyone have any info on it?

Yeah, me too. Saw them on Amazon (3rd party sellers) shortly after they came out, but they were pretty pricey, figured I'd wait for the normal shops to have 'em in. That hasn't happened, and now they're even more expensive through the Amazon marketplace sellers. Humph!

Bit strange that FFG don't have them on Upcoming, wonder what the deal is.

I wonder how much MM charge for delivery to the UK. The guys on Amazon are charging twice those prices (even after adding UK sales tax), but delivery and import duty could cancel that out...

Miniature market i trust... i think FRP games is actually one of those virtual stores that don't have any real inventory. They order it after you order it from them.. had a really really bad transaction with them.. have had great success with both cool stuff for games AND Miniature market.. My LGS ordered one for me and i got it in like a week..

I think they look good but the mat i got for £25 months ago is still going strong, maybe when the raider is released i might get the deathstar one.

I've shipped things to the UK for fellow gamers before, however I must charge appropriately. Also, my local store charges full MSRP. Judging by their size and the last time I shipped to the UK, I anticipate I would need to charge $60.

Ooh, you can't do that! The Raider's all about hunting rebels alone out in the Outer Rim, not defending the Death Star!

Although, having the Death Star playmat will make sense when Vader starts to see more play (and I already think he's awesome)...

Yeah, I haven't looked, but I suspect the shipping will be pretty pricey - that's why I was waiting for the UK distributer to get them in, should be much cheaper. Grr!

Maybe I'll email FFG and ask what's going on, since their Upcoming page doesn't tell us.
