Matthew McConaughey's reaction to Star Wars TFA Trailer II

By Imperial Advisor Arem Heshvaun, in X-Wing

Man,

Whether you are dog fighting in X Wing, playing an epic campaign in Imperial Assault or flat out complaining about the lack of ships in Armada, have a great weekend all.

The Force is Strong with us all.

Got to love the internets.

I've seen lots of trailers....we all have.

I've gotten emotional during a movie.....we all have.

But i've never gotten emotional during a trailer. But when I saw Han and Chewie.....*ahem*....i'm a grown man dammit!

Man, same here... I was bleary-eyed after that moment. It's such an emotional thing for me, especially since I remember when I was a kid being so disappointed to hear that Lucas had no plans to make the sequel trilogy that he'd talked about back in the 80's.

I cried when I saw the trailer. I CANNOT remember I time when I hadn't seen Star Wars, I have always wanted to see what happens after RotJ, people say read the EU, but it isn't the same as a movie.

Since we are all friends and loyal citizens of The Empire here, I will add this little trailer tidbit as well.

Now now, I haven't seen any girls confessing to shedding tears at the Star Wars trailer just yet.

I was able to pull it together through most of the trailer ... until I saw the Millennium Falcon fly through the carcass of a Super Star Destroyer.

Such, such a waste of a truly beautiful and perfect Warmachine.

... I need a moment.

I love when he does his little wave back at Kylo Ren.

I enjoyed him mindlessly pawing at the blank screen for more. (that was me)
