Trying to build a S&V list that I actually like that's not rehashed Rebel ships (Zs, Ys, HWKs). Thought this might be a nice change of pace, plus it has a good theme of all Mandalorian ships. Everyone can land crits and the Firespray can do it out of both arcs. Dampener was just to use the last point, but could be useful in a furball. Thoughts?

I love it! +100 cool points for all Mandalorian made ships! What about changing a mangler for an ion cannon? I know it would paint a big target on that Scyk but could be useful as a set up piece.

I'm all for some control with an Ion cannon, just not sure where to put it. I'm hesitant to lose a Mangler on the Scyks as they're so fragile, I want them doing as much damage as possible before they pop. Maybe I can shoe-horn one on the Firespray, but I'd lose RecSpec.

It's tough to find the room I'll give you that. Play it as is and see?

I think I'd rather go with predator + tactician on the mando merc. People will be shooting the Scyks first, so he doesn't need defense until they are gone. Then when he's the sole target, he can evade and still have a decent shot.

I had similar thoughts when I thought about the same build... Except I decided on Lone Wolf and Recon Specialist. Recon Spec just in case your opponent goes for the Merc first.

Lone Wolf was definitely up there as a choice for an EPT. The only issue would be keeping the Scyks far enough away for it to kick in while not being too far away to still support the Firespray. Guess that just requires skill and practice!

Change the third Cartel Spacer for a Binayre Pirate. Then your list is a Tropical Fruit Salad: a Pineapple, two Kiwis with Mangoes, and a Banana.

Seriously, though, the revision I'd suggest would be to swap one of the Manglers for a Flechette Cannon so you can add a control element to the list. Or better yet, put the flechette cannon on the Firespray; the points saved allow you to bump from a Mercenary to Kath.

I like Rec Spec for the Firespray myself; the additional focus helps in the defense as that big base is a vulnerability.
